Battlefield 1 - Are You Ready for the Oct. 21st Release


Battlefield 1 takes players to World War I in this first-person shooter franchise. Through ever-changing environments at the dawn of all-out war, no battle is ever the same. The game takes you across multiple and varied locations in a bid to fight your way through immersive battles. From tight urban fights in a besieged French city, to big open spaces in the Italian Alps and frantic combats in the deserts of Arabia, discover a world at war through an adventure-filled campaign.

Intuitive destruction and dynamic weather ensure that no battle is always changing. For even more gameplay possibilities can carve a path through walls and buildings to take down your enemies and leave your mark on the terrain around you.

Following the Battlefield 1 launch, a Rent-a-Server Program that will allow players to set up their own private and public Battlefield 1 servers, with control of different gameplay options to map rotations. Thanks to these customization options, you’ll be able to create games that suit the play style for you and your friends.

On a rented server, players will be able to customize gameplay aspects like server name, map rotation, game mode, various game play settings, and more. The number of game modes available may be restricted at launch and gradually enable them based on feedback and other circumstances, but you can expect that we’ll keep adding customization options and UI design throughout 2016.

Though playing Battlefield™ 1 is a reward in itself, we’ve made sure that you’ll be continuously awarded for your efforts. Your accomplishments on the battlefield should and will pay off – whether you’re an ace pilot or a trusted team player. One way we’re doing this is with Medals.

Battlefield veterans will notice some changes in how the commemorations work this time around. Each Medal still has a specific unlock criteria, but in Battlefield 1 you have the freedom to choose which medals to pursue. There are always 5 Medals to choose from, and this quintet of decorations is rotated on a weekly basis.

Through your actions, the pristine world around you change into a battle-scarred landscape, changing the world forever.

Playing the same map on a bright day, in heavy fog, or rain will impact what you see and hear, forcing you to adapt your play style on an ever-changing battlefield. Operations introduces a new way to play multiplayer.

Play a sequence of battles where your actions have consequences beyond a single match, as you try to conquer territory or push back your attackers and when you feel all is lost, call in the Behemoths - the largest fully player-controlled vehicles ever seen in Battlefield.

Roam the battlefield and rain fire on your enemy to break their defenses. All-out war never felt so epic. Take control of the Armored Train, Air Ship, or the Battleship to dominate the battlefield across land, air, and sea.

Squad-up with your allies in epic multiplayer battles with up to 64 players. In a true multiplayer sandbox experience, take to the skies and engage in high-octane dogfights through treacherous landscapes, or have a battleship obliterating the coast from the sea, and engage in some of the biggest battles ever seen as empires clash for supremacy.
