Release Date and Gameplay
During Microsoft's E3 2016 press conference, a release date was announced. Coming on September 13, 2016, the Xbox One and PC title features action-adventure gameplay that pits the final human named Joule living on earth against robotic foes and enemies.
Along your journey you'll make friendships with other robotic heroes that offer up different abilities and moves.

While the main protagonist Joule is human, she does come with her own set of robotic heroes:
Mack - Explorer
Seth - Escape Artist
Duncan - Heavy Hitter
From the trailer, it looks like there are still several other robotic heroes not yet announced
